Girls in gangs recruiting girls off the street by inviting them to the house, becoming friends with them and eventually introducing them to drugs
Male members of gangs recruit girls at clubs
Girl children being abducted
The girls are held captive for periods ranging from a few days to three months
The girls are forced on hard drugs and eventually become addicted
The trafficking industry is one of the fastest growing and most lucrative criminal enterprises in the world. Profits are enormous; generating billions of dollars annually to the coffers of organized crime syndicates and is only second to drugs and guns.

About Thailand (October 11, 2010):
Sex amongst minors is up 15%. There were 188 cases of sexual abuse involving minors in 2009.
Breeding A Culture of Prostitution In Thailand, the following is the most common ways that children become involved in prostitution:
Sold or rented out by their parents or guardians, often extremely poor or desperate and using an agent to facilitate the deal
Homeless or runaway children turn to prostitution as a means to survive
Peer pressure: Siblings or friends coerce them into the industry
Victims of scams or unscrupulous people who take advantage of the situation by forcing them into prostitution.
Victims of rape, sexual abuse and assault, often scared to confess, will become prostitutes. Most notably children involved in sexual abuse at home turn to selling their bodies

Child Defense Minister Renuka Chowdhury said, "child abuse is shrowded in secrecy and there is a conspiracy of silence around the entire subject." The ministry is working on a new law for protection of children's rights by clearly specifying offenses against children and stiffening penalties. Parents abused 83% of the second child emotionally.
China:
A prevalence of unwanted sexual experience before age 16 was 16.7%for females and 10.5% for males (2004) Physical contact abuse ws 8.9% for females and 5% for males.
Henan Province:
Over one in five young women (2l.9%) reported at least one type of child sexual abuse before the age of 16 with one in 7 (14% reporting child sexual abuse involving physical contact.
Taiwan:
Reported a 30% increase in child sexual abuse between 2005-2009
Hong Kong:
Child physical abuse was 526 per 1000 for minor violence and 461 per 1000 for severe violence (1998)
