Most Americans consider the world to be their enemy, largely due to the conservative media. First it was Communism and we now have conflict in the Middle East, that is largely unwinnable and unfortunately, they know more about the US and Americans than we know about them. This is sheer ignorance.
I regularly watch Rupert's Fox News, as well as the Comedy Channel, so I can laugh at people like Karl Rove & Co. I have to limit the amount of time I watch because I believe the Fox employees are aliens and if I look at them too long, I will sell out for money or turn into an alien!
While everyone agrees that killing bin laden asap was the number one foreign policy goal in recent years, we are being murdered by Afghan insiders and pushed by Israel to bomb Iran. Israel's whole existence is based upon fear of the world and abuse of Palestinians. George W and timid Democrats allowed us to become involved in 911 retaliation that has led to mixed results and severe debtt and horribly injured veterans and 2000 killed veterans.
Democracy or Die seems to be the American Motto, akin to Christianity or Hell.
