While Romney was somewhat moderate as Governor, e.g. on healthcare and abortion, he has changed.
Romney's only real qualification to be President is his record as Governor. He is not a lawyer and this is the only lawmaking job he ever had. His job creation performance was nearly dead last. How can he possibly fool the American people with zingers, when most Americans believe that the economy is the number one issue? He is not humorous and will flop if he tries to be funny in the upcoming debate.. He is completely vague on job creation. His medicare plan would cost seniors who are now 65, $11,000 per year (NPR News today). He wants to dismantle ObamaCare which is helping millions of working poor in the Medicaid program, who were previously not eligible.
Has Romney ever worked significantly for an hourly wage, has he ever personally hired an hourly worker in business? Romney is patronizing the American people when he spouts off about freedom, free enterprise, subsidizing the rich to stimulate the economy, self-sufficiency to get a job and the claim that HE ALONE can fix the economy and the unemployment rate. The Stock Market is doing very well and hasn't helped the unemployment rate, which stands at a point 6% increase since Obama took office in January of 2009, inheriting the Republican financial meltdown.
As for women, they have made Obama their choice by a wide margin, and are well aware of the Mormon church's controversial views regarding women. The Mormon church is governed by elite, older, ALL WHITE males. Their services are rehearsed and robotic with no audience participation allowed.
Finally, Romney lacks the temperament to be President-he fluctuates from schizo to passive-aggressive, and fails to stay on track when asked a quesstion. Even his wife voiced public concerns about his mental health.
