PBS' Jim Lehrer will moderate the debate in his sophisticated monotone manner.
Romney wil frequently ask for 30 seconds more time to explain his answer.
Democrats have won the majority of debates in recent years.
Behavior analysts say that he who blinks the most loses.
Fareed Zakaria has picked 8 of the last 9 winners in the presidential elections.
I expect the debate to be boring, as we have heard it all before and the talking points aren't very exciting.
Romney will butt in and accuse Obama of failing to keep his promise to the American people on the economy--Obama won't bite and Romney shows poor temperament.
Romney will say he feels the nation's pain and then say pass the hot sauce please.
Romney will be aggressive and embellish his remark with this and that about Bain, the Olympics and his record as Governor. Obama won't bite.
Obama will be eloquent and desperately attempt to hide the fact that he doesn't think much of Romney. In fact, Obama has made remarkable accomplishments and won't harp on them.
We already know the questions and answers. Likeability and temperament will be judged.
The big question is will Romney and Obama look at each other or simply focus on the moderator.
Given Romney's inability to stay on track, he will not be very successful in sticking to the point when asked questions. Obama is not only skilled at debate, but actually listens to questions and answers them.
